The School of Accounting is one of the key construction and development colleges of Xijing College. It is the first department in Northwest China to carry out the postgraduate education of the "Master of Auditing Professional Degree (MAud)". The college offers 1 graduate major (Master of Auditing major) and 3 undergraduate majors (Accounting, Financial Management, Auditing). There are teaching reform experimental classes such as Financial Big Data Analytics, CPA (Chinese Certified Public Accountant), ACCA (International Certified Public Accountant), CMA (American Certified Management Accountant), CIA (International Certified Internal Auditor), etc.

After years of development, the School of Accounting has gradually formed a faculty with excellent ethics and style, a reasonable structure of professional titles, and solid professional knowledge. The faculty is relatively strong. It has a group of teachers with associate professional titles or above, graduate tutors, leading accounting talents, and industry background teachers. , Teachers with overseas backgrounds have created excellent conditions for the college to train applied talents.

The accounting major of the School of Accounting has four provincial-level professional comprehensive reform pilot projects, including Shaanxi provincial-level quality resource sharing courses, provincial-level experimental teaching demonstration centers, provincial-level talent training model innovation experimental areas, and provincial-level teaching teams.

In order to further enhance the innovation ability of undergraduates and graduate students, the school established a core scientific research team of "Accountaholics" and a scientific research platform of the Accounting Audit Informatics Research Center, which played an important role in leading scientific research and cultivating students' innovative ability.

The School of Accounting strengthens the training of applied talents, pays attention to the improvement of teaching quality, comprehensively implements "one teacher, one excellent course" and project-based teaching.
