This graduate program provides expertise in applied and basic computing through its course offerings in computer systems, theory, languages and algorithms. It is designed to prepare students for a career as a computing professional, although some students go on to pursue a PhD degree.

The Department of Computing Sciences at Villanova offers options for graduate study that are relevant, flexible and affordable. With both campus and online offerings, and options for full or part-time study, we offer great flexibility at an exceptional value.

You can earn a Master's degree in Computer Science, a Master's degree in Software Engineering, or a fully online Graduate Certificate in Health Informatics. Undergraduates can also get a jump start on their graduate degree in our Combined Programs.
