The professional specialties in the Master of Science in Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics (P-MSACMS) trains students to solve complex real-world problems with statistical, mathematical,and computational modeling. This intensive 11-month program combines education in the discipline with training in business fundamentals and project work on practical problems.
We currently offer specialty tracks in computational finance, applied and computational mathematics, applied statistics, and predictive analytics that prepare students to become critical employees of a wide variety of businesses or organizations.
Since its founding in 1865, the University of Notre Dame’s College of Science has built upon the University’s world-renowned intellectual resources while building up the campus’s state-of-the-art infrastructure, the $70 million Jordan Hall of Science and its Digital Visualization Theater serving as the most recent example.
