Graduate students in the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) Integrated Biosciences Graduate Program tackle many subjects in the field and the lab. This hands-on experience will prepare you for a variety of careers in biological sciences. The Integrated Biosciences Graduate Program is a Ph.D. program that is university-wide and multidisciplinary.

Students can choose advisors from numerous University departments and associated faculty at the Natural Resources Research Institute and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Duluth.

The University of Minnesota Duluth campus grew from its early roots as the Duluth Normal School to become a University of Minnesota campus in 1947. Today, UMD is a medium-sized regional university that offers students a supportive atmosphere and access to the larger University of Minnesota system's resources. UMD students can choose from more than 93 undergraduate and post-baccalaureate degrees and graduate programs in more than 20 different fields.
