In the "National Cybersecurity Strategy 2019", published in the BOE on April 30, 2019, it is defined: The activities that take place in cyberspace are essential for today's society.

The technology and infrastructures that are part of cyberspace are strategic elements, transversal to all areas of activity, with the vulnerability of cyberspace being one of the main risks for our development as a nation. Therefore, the training of professionals of the highest level in this field appears fully justified. The fundamental motivation of the Master's Degree in Cybersecurity and Cyberintelligence is to provide its graduates with a better job placement in an area where professional demand is not only growing, but is well above the number of specialized graduates offered by the Spanish educational system. .

For this, the faculty puts into this master's degree all their teaching and research experience in the sector, with the vocation of being a national and international benchmark in the field of Cybersecurity and Cyberintelligence.

The methodology with which the master's degree is defined and taught, based on the acquisition by the student, not only of knowledge, but also of skills and abilities, aims to place the Master's Degree in Cybersecurity and Cyberintelligence of the UPV at the highest academic level and professional.

The knowledge, skills and abilities transferred in each subject will be specially selected to cover the current gaps in the professional demand in the field of Cybersecurity and Cyberintelligence.
