The Bachelor of Business Administration in international business is designed to prepare students to effectively engage in our increasingly globalized business world—whether through large corporations, entrepreneurial ventures, or nonprofit organizations. Students will gain a foundational knowledge of business while also increasing cross-cultural awareness and understanding.

Trevecca's international business concentration is designed to prepare students to effectively engage in our increasingly globalized business world--whether they do so with large corporations, entrepreneurial ventures, or in the not-for-profit sector. This unique program's business core will provide you with foundations in economics, accounting, finance, management, marketing, law, and quantitative analyses while including courses that will increase your cross-cultural awareness and understanding.

Relevant coursework

Core courses in this concentration include International Business, International Marketing, International Economic Development, Cross-Cultural Communication, and a foreign language selection. Relevant electives are available from both the social sciences and business.

Studying abroad

We offer several single-semester study-abroad programs in cooperation with the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities. If you do not wish to spend an entire semester overseas, Trevecca also sponsors several mission trips per year that provide students with ministry opportunities as well as a chance to participate in valuable cross-cultural experiences in a two-week time frame.

Not only are Trevecca students moving across the world, but the world is coming to Trevecca. Our increasingly diverse student body includes students from about 40 different countries and counting. Just by having a cup of coffee in Trevecca's NINETEEN|01 coffee shop, you might get an idea of what it's like to live and do business in places like Korea, China, Honduras, or other countries—without even leaving campus.

Located in the heart of Nashville, Trevecca's faculty and staff are focused on preparing students for lives of leadership and service. Trevecca offers classes at the main campus as well as two satellite campuses in Middle Tennessee and online classes worldwide. With students from 47 states and 39 countries, Trevecca offers 20 associate degrees, 81 undergraduate majors, 25 master’s programs, and three doctoral programs as well as specialist and certificate programs.

Our main campus is home to more than 1,000 students and has plenty to offer. From coffee shops and eateries to rec facilities and Benson Auditorium, there are places to hang out, get active, grab a bite, or watch a show. There’s always something happening right in our backyard.
