Trevecca’s specialized computing concentration is available to you if you are pursuing your Bachelor of Science in computer science, graphic design, or information systems. This track helps you develop the ability to analyze business problems within cybersecurity and forensics contexts and create business strategies using creative computing solutions for both design and technical problems.

In our increasingly digital world, businesses and organizations in nearly every field are looking for experts in cybersecurity and forensics. If you are majoring in computer science, graphic design or information systems, you can join the specialized computing track. Within this concentration you will:

• Develop the ability to analyze business problems and create business strategies to meet goals within cybersecurity and forensics contexts.
• Develop creative computing solutions for both design and technical problems.
• Learn to apply cybersecurity principles to the functional processes of any organization.
• Develop the ability to distinguish and articulate which security and forensic tool or technique should be applied to specific processes/situations.
