The University’s professional schools and Center for Continuing Education also offer a limited selection of distance programs in other formats for special populations, as well as a broad range of non-credit distance education programs.

University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill distance education programs are approved by the state of North Carolina to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements. National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements is a voluntary, regional approach to state oversight of postsecondary distance education.
