Our diverse student body comes from across the nation and the world to become independent scientists and develop professional and transferable skills through top research projects, professional development, and other campus resources that prepare them to become leaders in a broad range of scientific fields. Being part of our Ph.D. program allows our students to select one of our two campuses: the traditional Aggie experience in Bryan/College Station or the Institute of Biosciences and Technology, located in the heart of Houston's world-famous Texas Medical Center. The two branches provide different cultures and environments, both with excellent resources in which to pursue graduate studies in the medical sciences.
