We have an entrance examination system and research and education system that allow admission every six months. We will increase learning opportunities by conducting enrollment selection that is easy for professionals and general members of society to take on challenges.

Compared to the graduate schools set up at private universities near our university, we have set the lowest tuition fees. We also have a scholarship system and a TA (education assistant) system to support students who have achieved excellent academic results.

There is a need for human resources who can create architecture and cities as high-quality social stock. At our university, we will focus on design education to meet the needs and train highly specialized professionals.

首都体育学院is the only higher physical education college in Beijing. In 1960, it was transformed into Beijing Normal University of Physical Education. In 1962, it was merged into Beijing Normal University. In 1979, the Beijing Normal University of Physical Education was restored. In 2000, it was renamed the首都体育学院. In 2020, according to the classified development plan of Beijing's public universities, our school was identified as a "high-level characteristic university".

The school has 8 teaching units, including the School of Physical Education and Training, the School of Sports Science and Health, the School of Martial Arts and Performance, the School of Management and Communication, the School of Leisure and Social Sports, the School of Continuing Education, the School of International Education, and the School of Marxism, as well as sports labor. Two directly affiliated research institutions, including the Intelligent Research Institute and the Sports-Medical Fusion Innovation Center. Physical education, sports training, physical training, sports human science, sports rehabilitation, social sports guidance and management, leisure sports, sports tourism, martial arts and traditional national sports, dance performance, journalism, public service management, sports economy and management 14 undergraduate majors including e-sports sports and management. Among them, 5 majors are national first-class majors, 2 majors are national characteristic majors, and 4 majors are Beijing first-rate majors. The school has 2 national teaching teams, 2 national quality courses, 1 national quality resource sharing course, 2 national first-class courses, 20 national planning textbooks, and 1 national off-campus practice education base for college students.
