Master of Science en Aviation

Saint Louis University's Master of Science in Aviation is a fully online, rigorous program that prepares graduates for leadership roles within the aviation industry. A master’s degree in aviation provides technical depth and specialization that can expand career opportunities and responsibilities. It can also prepare graduates for doctoral (Ph.D. and Av.D.) studies.

• Exceptional aeronautics undergraduate students committed to continuing their education through a master’s program can reduce the time it takes to complete their bachelor’s and master’s degrees. SLU aeronautics undergraduates may apply for admission to the Master’s in Aviation program and, if admitted, may be able to apply up to six credit hours of graduate coursework from their senior/fourth year toward the 30 hours required for the master’s degree in aviation.

Saint Louis University formed the School of Science and Engineering in 2022 to better meet the future needs of students and faculty. The school brings together science, engineering and technology to promote cross-functional, interdisciplinary research and study. SLU’s newly formed School comprises the following departments: Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering; The Oliver L. Parks Department of Aviation Science; Biomedical Engineering; Chemistry; Civil, Computer and Electrical Engineering; Computer Science; Earth and Atmospheric Science; and Physics. Students in SLU’s School of Science and Engineering receive a hands-on education from world-class, award-winning faculty in their fields. From the time they arrive on campus, students have access to staff advisors, research mentors and a number of student support services - including career services.
