BACHELOR OF SCIENCE EN SCIENCES DE LA SANTÉ INTÉGRATIVE

The Bachelor of Science in Integrative Health Sciences (BSiHS) degree is designed for third-year students seeking to develop an in-depth understanding of integrative health sciences. Our curriculum features three core threads: integrative health sciences, natural sciences, and social sciences. The integrative sciences thread focuses on exercise science, prevention and wellness, anatomy and physiology, mind-body medicine, whole-food nutrition, botanical medicine, and more.

The natural sciences thread includes anatomy and physiology, organic chemistry, biochemistry, and genetics. These courses provide our students a solid scientific understanding of the human body and the basic principles of health and disease, provide fundamentals in research, and provide scientific and professional communication. The social sciences thread highlights the student's interpersonal and professional growth with a strong focus on the development of cultural competency skills, ethical decision-making, expository writing, self-reflection, and self-management.

Your studies culminate with a final capstone project, the stepping stone to the next phase of your career or continued graduate study.

Students take traditional pre-health/pre-med classes in the natural sciences thread, such as anatomy and physiology with dissection lab, organic chemistry, biochemistry, and physics. These provide the scientific foundation for understanding the human body and the basic principles of health and disease. Throughout this sequence, students also learn the foundations of research and scientific and professional communication.
