Master en Biomatériaux Dentaires

Graduate students in dental biomaterials pursue the application of scientific principles to the study of dental biomaterials including relationships among compositions, physical properties, and clinical properties for dental biomaterial systems.

The MS program in dental biomaterials is offered to individuals who want to pursue advanced study in dental biomaterials. A major component of the program is conducting a research project culminating in the successful completion of a master’s thesis and defense.

As Wisconsin's only dental school, the Marquette University School of Dentistry is answering the call to meet future workforce needs, increase access to oral health for underserved patients and advance dental education in Wisconsin. The key elements to our success are expanding clinical space, promoting technology, expanding student capacity, and retaining and recruiting quality faculty.

Marquette is well-known for its innovative curriculum and has recently built a 4,000 ft research laboratory which includes three clinical research operatories. This research space houses a highly active research group looking to collaborate with MUSOD faculty interested in oral tissue regeneration, oral microbiology and clinical trials research. The school is serving the community on its main campus and in community-based clinics in Milwaukee and through outreach clinics across the State of Wisconsin.
