The IT revolution which started around 2000 has been renovating itself at an unprecedented speed in the fields of IoT and AI. This course is aimed at raising human resources capable of supporting the IT industry through tutorials with powerful faculty and systematic practical education programs. It is intended to make the matching of the needs of the individual student and the industry and raise students' skills and understanding of IT technology through certification acquisition instruction and technique training. We also provide engineering fundamental education such as applied mathematics/applied physics and practical English education. Students are encouraged to raise their abilities through teaching assistance in information-related courses of the department and training/part-time work at the information center on campus.
Kurume Institute of Technology was founded in 1966 with the spirit of nurturing highly skilled and compassionate people of the industry. This institute has visions of developing talents in each individual student, fostering industrial experts of manufacturing with a global perspective, and becoming an institute that is relied on by the local industrial community.

Kurume Institute of Technology marked our 50th anniversary in April 2015 with the completion of the new 9-story Techno-Future Building. We see this building as a stage for helping each one of our students to realize his/her dreams. Equipped with the latest technology, it will constantly be updated to ensure that we provide a technologically advanced research and educational environment for students and staff both now and in the future.
From this point on, we at KIT aim to continue to develop an educational environment in which students and faculty can stimulate each other. We invite you to join us as we strive towards our goal of producing graduates who will contribute to local and international societies.
