Cours de Formation en Ligne pour Enseignants (TESOL)

Participants start teaching the first week of class with ESL students from around the world and learn techniques to use in both a physical and virtual classroom. Our World Learning SIT Graduate Institute course provides practical skills and confidence needed to be a successful teacher.

This certificate prepares teachers to teach using video-conferencing software and face-to-face classes. Delivering in a remote format has helped us to better understand the challenges and opportunities that educators and learners are currently facing. It’s allowed us to look at learning, teaching, and training from a different, additional perspective to see the increased possibilities.

ILI is more than a language learning center. We are students, teachers, and community supporters who passionately believe that by working together, we advance our mission to encourage multicultural understanding and create strong diverse communities through academic excellence.

The International Language Institute of Massachusetts (ILI) is a private, non-profit language school founded in 1984 and located in Northampton, Massachusetts.

ILI’s mission is to promote intercultural understanding and diverse communities by providing high-quality language instruction and teacher training. For 35 years, thousands of students—from more than 90 countries, from across the U.S., and from western Massachusetts—have successfully completed our courses and classes. Hundreds of community volunteers have broadened their cultural horizons as tutors, mentors, and host families.
