The Water Resources Management program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, is a flexible, interdisciplinary study leading to a Master of Science degree. It is a technically and scientifically-based program that blends the physical aspects of the hydrologic sciences with policy and management issues. Students enter the program from various undergraduate programs, then take classes and research with faculty from federal, state, and local government agencies.
Students work with their advisory committee to design a course of study that allows them to better understand water-related issues within the context of their personal interests and their existing skillset.
Students may take classes and research with faculty in the Colleges of Sciences, Business, Urban Affairs, Engineering, and Liberal Arts at UNLV, plus the Boyd School of Law and the Desert Research Institute.
Available Options: Thesis Track and Non-Thesis Track.
