Master of Arts en éducation (MAE)

The Master of Arts in Education (MAE) is dedicated to enhancing and improving the skills, knowledge, attitudes, and competencies of current and future professionals in the fields of education and sport coaching. We are committed to preparing competent leaders, reflective facilitators of learning, and lifelong professionals in theory and research.

In just five semesters, licensed teachers have the option to:

obtain a master's degree

add an additional licensure area: K-12 Intervention Specialist Mild/Moderate

obtain a K-12 Ohio Reading endorsement

Teachers with an initial license may also opt to complete only the courses to obtain a K-12 Intervention Specialist Mild/Moderate license (27 hours) or the courses to obtain a K-12 Ohio Reading Endorsement (15-18 hours).

We create opportunities for students to initiate and facilitate beneficial action in and out of the classroom and encourage self-reflection on the role of the dedicated leader.

We encourage our students to be of service to their fellow students, their chosen fields of study, their communities, and the world. We provide opportunities for students to transform society through civic engagement along with the application of their knowledge and understanding to service.
