Our BA (Hons) Fashion Communication & Industry Practice programme, spanning two enriching years, offers an exceptional opportunity to be immersed in the dynamic fashion and media industries with Condé Nast. This comprehensive programme delves deep into the fashion, media, and creative industries, encompassing areas such as fashion marketing, branding, business management, styling, image-making, photography, film, creative direction, graphic and digital design, as well as fashion journalism and media. With a strong emphasis on both theory and practice, students will engage directly with industry professionals, ensuring a well-rounded education that keeps pace with the latest trends, debates, theories, and industry practices.
As a student in this fast-track intensive programme, you will explore a holistic view of fashion’s cultural, economic, global, and local significance. You will foster diverse perspectives and cultural awareness, preparing you for a career in fashion communication and media.
The overarching goal of this programme is to guide you towards obtaining an Honours Degree in Fashion Communication & Industry Practice while equipping you with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the fashion, media, and associated industries. Whether your passion lies in creative subjects like styling and image-making, a strategic or business-oriented approach, or a combination of both, this programme accommodates your unique skills and interests.
It will introduce you to the historical, social, cultural, economic, and political foundations of fashion, media, and communication practices, and foster lively discussions regarding the future of the fashion and media industries, emphasising the importance of positive systemic change. The programme is designed to enhance your communication skills across diverse media platforms, striking a balance between strategic and creative outputs. Additionally, it focuses on nurturing crucial transferable skills, encompassing research, analysis, critical thinking, innovation, and the production of both creative and strategic content. The programme also provides valuable opportunities for experiential learning and engagement with professionals in the fashion, media, and related industries, and will aid you in identifying your strengths and formulating a well-suited career path within these dynamic fields, or pursuing further higher education.

At Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design, our unwavering commitment to industry preparation is evident. The programme’s standout features include the Fashion Industry Placement module and the Collaborative Industry Project . These modules will offer you invaluable interactions with industry professionals. You will embark on a four-week industry placement at the end of year one, followed by an autumn engagement with a live industry brief set by a partner company; previous industry partners have included Vogue, Louis Vuitton, Jaguar Land Rover, Estée Lauder, Condé Nast Contract Publishing, Modus PR, Manolo Blahnik, GQ, Hugo Boss, Coach, Métier London, MAC, Coach, and Penhaligon’s.

Our courses fuse exciting and intensive academic learning with unrivalled access to the best and brightest minds in the industry, including the teams at Vogue, Glamour, GQ, Wired and a host of other Condé Nast titles.
The College provides highly creative courses combined with a solid foundation in the business side of the industry. The purpose of our courses is to prepare students for a multitude of jobs/; styling, journalism, fashion buying, marketing, branding, graphic design, PR, digital strategy, business, events entrepreneurship, e-commerce and many more career paths.
We currently offer the following accredited courses – the MA Fashion Media Strategy, MA Creative Direction for Fashion Media, MA Fashion Journalism, MA Fashion Communication, MA Entrepreneurship: Fashion and Creative Industries, MA Luxury Brand Management (in collaboration with Richmond University), the BA (Hons) Fashion Communication, the one-year Vogue Foundation Programme, Diploma and three Certificate.
Our short courses include the four-week Vogue Intensive Summer Course, the 5-days of... courses: Fashion Styling Course, Fashion Journalism Course, Fashion Business Course, Creative Direction and the Vogue Teen Weekend as well as six-week online Insights courses.

The Condé Nast College places our students in a position to reach their dream career. The College offers excellent industry links and partnerships. Students not only gain a thorough preparation for business life, they have already had extensive engagement with the professional world before leaving the College. Work experience/internships at Condé Nast may be offered to a select group of the most talented students. The College cannot pledge work placements at other companies but it will make introductions and recommendations for star students. The College’s careers advisor is able to guide students on further study, employment opportunities, internships, placements and projects relevant to each student’s requirements. They offer a professional service designed to respond to individual needs. The career advisor also hold workshops on CV writing, portfolio presentation, job search skills and interview techniques. Please note individual career guidance is only available for students on our accredited courses - all the MA programmes, the BA (Hons) Fashion Communication, the Vogue Foundation Programme, Diploma & Certificate programmes.
