Training objectives: cultivate basic theories and basic knowledge in environment and development, accept basic training in environmental engineering experimental skills, engineering practice, computer applications, scientific research and engineering design methods, and have the ability to monitor, control and manage pollutants, and the environment Professional skills such as quality evaluation, environmental planning and management, master the engineering and technical personnel for simulation calculation and process optimization of pollution control process, technical transformation of existing environmental engineering facilities, and development and design of new environmental protection processes. This major is a characteristic major of Jiangsu Province and a three-star major in the national university rankings.

Employment direction: Engaged in environmental planning, management, research and development, evaluation work in government management departments, environmental protection departments, scientific research units, and pollution control, monitoring, environmental planning and management in enterprises and institutions.
