This international program's duration is 5 years and the requirements are:

• High school and higher education
• Holders of foreign passports China four years (or more)
• The last four years in more than two years of actually living outside China
• Fluent in Chinese or English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills

Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM), founded in 1956, a prestigious university in China, has been well-known for its leading subjects traditional Chinese medicine and Chinese Materia Medica. It has set up several teaching schools, including School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, School of Chinese Materia Medica, School of Life Sciences, School of Acupuncture, Moxibustion and Tuina, School of Management, School of Nursing, School of Humanities, School of Chinese Culture Studies, International School, School of Distance Education, School of Continuing Education, and Physical Teaching Department. BUCM has 4 school-level research institutions, namely Beijing Research Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine, National Institute of traditional Chinese medicine Constitution and Preventive Medicine, National Institute of Chinese Medicine Development and Strategy, and Institute of Encephalopathy, Beijing, China.
