Post MSN

The MSN Post-Masters Certificate Programs are for registered nurse who already holds a master's degree in nursing and who desires to expand their advanced practice role. Would you like to expand or change your advance practice nursing role? Are you interested in an area that differs from your current specialization obtained by your MSN degree? Our certificate programs offer opportunities for you to build upon your clinical skills and knowledge, allowing you to explore new professional directions.

The purpose of the Post-Masters Certificates Programs is to provide an educational route for a different specialization for nurses who already hold a master's degree in nursing in another area. The program is designed to strengthen or broaden the clinical management capabilities of masters-prepared nurses who are planning a role expansion or role change.

Auburn University College of Nursing is on the move! We are increasing the numbers of students and faculty dramatically. We moved into our new home in the summer of 2017. Newly designed and equipped simulation labs offer students and faculty the most up-to-date learning environments available. A new emphasis on interdisciplinary research and practice is creating exciting partnerships and preparing students for 21st-century health care delivery. New programs and concentrations are in development that will redefine our mission and our impact across the state, the region, and the country.
