Williams Baptist University in Walnut Ridge, Ark., offers an emphasis in Journalism, as a component of the minor in Communication Arts.

As a student in Journalism, you will be trained to enhance the art of story-telling, along with understanding the social impact of communication methods. Journalism encompasses studies in basic news writing, reporting, systems of grammar, and advanced composition.

Christ-Centered Focus

The foundation of Williams Baptist University is the confession that Jesus Christ is Lord (Romans 10:9-10), the Incarnate Son and Word of God, and the Divine Creator and Savior of the world. We aspire to be a Christ-centered institution of higher education in character, conduct, and academic pursuits.
