The Professor Documentalist course aims at students wishing to develop expertise in information-documentation and become professor documentalists (preparation for the CAPES in Documentation). Thanks to this training, the student acquires a culture of information, media, and digital technology, essential today to exercise the professor librarian profession. It develops skills to manage a documentation and information centre in middle and high school and, more generally, an information and documentation system and skills to teach media and information education and encourage students to read on all media.
Terms of Access:
Master 1: hold a license.
The Information and Communication Sciences licenses or with Documentation Course are valued.
The files are subject to an examination by the course pedagogical committee.
Master 2: hold an M1 from the same course or another course, subject to the file's validation by an educational committee.
Further studies:
Doctoral thesis in Information and Communication Sciences (according to the doctoral school's arbitration)
