The UF Ph.D. programs exemplify the UF Health Science Center's collaborative infrastructure with innovative research opportunities and excellent faculty. The University of Florida’s Ph.D. in Medical Sciences with a Biomedical Informatics concentration offers advanced training in computer science, health and medicine, biostatistics, data science and analytics, engineering, and research methodology to prepare students for academic and research careers in the growing field of biomedical informatics.

As the largest college within the UF Health academic health center, the UF College of Medicine is home to thousands of faculty, students, and staff committed to improving people's health and well-being across the globe. The College of Medicine, the largest of six colleges at the University of Florida Academic Health Center, opened in 1956 with a mission to increase Florida’s supply of highly qualified physicians, provide advanced health care services to the residents of Florida and foster discovery in health research.
