El Máster en Derecho de Cambridge (LLM)

The Law Faculty at Cambridge offers a world-renowned, internationally respected LLM (Master of Law) programme. The one-year taught course offers highly qualified and intellectually outstanding students the opportunity of pursuing their legal studies at an advanced level in a challenging - but supportive - environment.

The Master of Law course, with its rich historical traditions, attracts students of the highest calibre, from both common law and civil law jurisdictions. It is intended for those wishing to pursue further legal studies after completing their first degree in law, including those who are considering an academic career or intending to practise law and those taking a career break seeking to broaden their intellectual horizons.

The minimum entry requirement for the Master of Law is normally a First-Class degree in law from a UK University, or the equivalent from an overseas institution.

With more than 20,000 students from all walks of life and all corners of the world, over 11,000 staff, 31 Colleges and 150 Departments, Faculties, Schools and other institutions, no two days are ever the same at the University of Cambridge.

The University is a confederation of Schools, Faculties, Departments and Colleges. The 31 Colleges are governed by their own statutes and regulations but are integral to the make-up of the University.

As well as being a member of the University and of an academic Faculty/Department, our students also belong to a College community, an arrangement that offers pastoral and academic support for each individual.
