The major program is comprehensive requiring a minimum of 60 credit hours of coursework in Computer Information Systems and approved courses in business, English, and oral communication; as well as the general education curriculum, the bachelor of science identity requirements, and elective courses.

The School of Computer Information Systems offers a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Computer Information Systems, a minor in Computer Information Systems, and an Advanced Certificate in Computer Information Systems for individuals who already hold a bachelor's degree in another discipline.

The School of Computer Information Systems at the University of Arkansas at Monticello recently honored its top students during the school’s annual spring banquet. Awards presented to the outstanding senior, outstanding junior, and rookie of the year.

MICROSOFT AZURE FOR EDUCATION

The Azure for Education program allows students enrolled in specific Computer Information Systems courses to receive available Microsoft software that is used in the instructional software development classes.
