The Department of Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Assets of the Polytechnic University of Valencia (created in 1990) is the only one in the Spanish university community that has its own area of knowledge in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Assets, granted by the Council of Universities in the year 1992.
