When you receive your Bachelor’s Degree in Bible with a double minor in Pastoral Theology and Practical Ministry, you will be well-versed in multiple ministry positions. This degree requires you to learn many of the in’s and outs of pastoral ministry, preaching an expository message, and translating the Bible’s original languages. Your professors will be seasoned individuals with the education and experience to guide and equip you for local church ministry properly.

Your Pastoral Theology And Practical Ministry Degree Will Teach You

Practical knowledge of the pastoral duties and ministries of the local church.

Practical knowledge of the Great Commission as an evangelistic and disciple-making command from Christ.

How to effectively communicate biblical truth in preach and/or teaching settings.

The ability to articulate basic Christian doctrines of both Old and New Testament.

Be able to demonstrate critical thinking skills related to Bible study, sermon and/or lesson preparation, and spiritual formation of the believer.

You will have the incredible opportunity to study with experienced and educated professionals specializing in specific areas related to your degree. Your advisor will guide you on what classes to take throughout your time here at Southeastern and teach some of your courses. Mr Clark is an admired professor who is loved by our students.

The purpose of Southeastern Free Will Baptist Bible College (Southeastern FWB College) is to train students for church-related ministries.

While we fully understand and appreciate that all truth is God’s truth, it is our purpose to prepare our students for various church-related ministries such as pastors, associate pastors, evangelists, missionaries, Christian school teachers, youth pastors, and church musicians.

Students choosing to attend Southeastern Free Will Bible College do so because our program is more “ministry oriented” than “career-oriented.”

In the process of offering this specialized training, it is our objective to emphasize the following: strong local churches, biblical pastoral authority, soul-winning, revival, Christian schools, home, and foreign missions, as well as high academic standards with an emphasis on practical application.
