In such a situation, even with the best medical care from a doctor, it is no longer possible to cure completely. So who can solve the problem in this process? The answer is the nutrition profession such as a registered dietitian that you are aiming for. The only professional who can completely correct the process from ingestion to metabolism, lay the foundation for disease treatment / prevention and health maintenance in the body, and have a healthy life expectancy, and the nutrition profession is a vocation. Therefore, I hope that all the students who are aiming for this path will do their best with great pride and spirit. 首都体育学院is the only higher physical education college in Beijing. In 1960, it was transformed into Beijing Normal University of Physical Education. In 1962, it was merged into Beijing Normal University. In 1979, the Beijing Normal University of Physical Education was restored. In 2000, it was renamed the首都体育学院. In 2020, according to the classified development plan of Beijing's public universities, our school was identified as a "high-level characteristic university".

The school has 8 teaching units, including the School of Physical Education and Training, the School of Sports Science and Health, the School of Martial Arts and Performance, the School of Management and Communication, the School of Leisure and Social Sports, the School of Continuing Education, the School of International Education, and the School of Marxism, as well as sports labor. Two directly affiliated research institutions, including the Intelligent Research Institute and the Sports-Medical Fusion Innovation Center.
