Music is a tool for play, educational and therapeutic intervention that opens channels of expression and communication, prevents disorders, stimulates creativity and focuses on healthy emotions to normalize the conflict situation and stimulate learning.
The Master in Music Therapy, designed for both psychology and education professionals, prepares you to intervene in improving communication skills and in the physical, cognitive and socio-emotional rehabilitation of various groups, promoting the health of users through different musical techniques. This training enables you to intervene in the expressiveness of people through music.
The ISEP methodology combines practical and theoretical training. It includes supervised music therapy practices and a didactic and therapeutic training process (self-experience).
The Master in Music Therapy is designed in accordance with the curricular guidelines established by the European Higher Education Area, the European Music Therapy Register (EMTR) and the Spanish Registry of Music Therapists (REMTA), following the criteria defined in the Technical Criteria Document for Be a Music Therapist in Spain.
It is a program of a high degree of specialization and professionalism and is part of the training itinerary that the student can choose from the Master's program in Artistic and Creative Therapies, where the Master in Art Therapy and the Master in Therapy are framed.
