AHA's specialized training provides the skills and knowledge for effective practice with adults, older adults, and their families at the micro, macro, and mezzo levels. Students are prepared to work in a variety of settings such as hospitals and other health care settings, mental health settings, substance abuse treatment facilities, long-term care facilities, and hospice agencies.
