The Bachelor of Music in Education (BMED) is a professional degree designed to prepare students for a music teaching career specializing in the orchestra, choir, or band. Students will prepare to qualify for a K-12 teaching certificate. Students are given opportunities to teach in local schools, including a full semester of student teaching as the capstone experience.
