The MSc Urban Planning programme provides you with an international grounding in urban planning centred on the theme of urban regeneration.

Human Geography and Urban-Rural Planning Major: This major was established in 2012, formerly known as "Resources Environment and Urban-Rural Planning Management", and was renamed in 2013. Starting in 2013, it will enroll 60 students for each grade, and the school system will be four years. There are currently 11 full-time teachers, with laboratories that meet the teaching needs and relatively advanced equipment; the teaching effect is obvious, and several characteristic directions such as surveying, planning and mapping, and geography teaching have been basically formed; the development process of cities around our province and prefecture Accelerated, the development of industries such as real estate, construction, and planning and mapping has provided graduates with a large number of employment and entrepreneurial opportunities. The program covers a period of five years and prepares individuals for the independent professional practice of architecture and conducting research in various aspects of the field.

The MSc Urban Planning (specialisation in Urban Design) programme allows you to engage in the complex issues of urban space production in the dynamic Chinese context.

Objective: grasp the theories of Marxism and establish a scientific world outlook, adhere to the basic lines of the Party, love the motherland, abide the law, form a good character, behave honestly and trustworthy, strictly and cooperatively, and maintain good research ethics and professionalism.

The Master of Architectural Design educates the next generation of forward-looking global architects who have the necessary cross-cultural awareness, social and environmental responsibility, creative and critical capability, technical competence and professional attitude to enable ongoing and future transformations in the globalised building environment.

The course is studied over one academic year of 12 months. 60 credits of modules are studied in the autumn, and 60 credits of modules are studied in the spring semester. A research project is undertaken in the summer semester, also worth 60 credits.

In the BEng Urban Planning and Design programme, you will study the planning and design of urban and rural landscapes in both local and international contexts. You will obtain knowledge and skills to analyse, critique and contribute to the shaping of the sustainable development agenda in China and around the world.
