Our Faculty of Management, home to Dalhousie's Master of Public Administration program, boasts a reputation for developing private sector, public sector and civil society leaders who manage with integrity and make things happen. Goals The objectives of the program are the integrated acquisition of explanatory models and the ability to make rigorous use of them in political science. The modalities with thesis and with supervised work aim at the capacity to carry out a systematic observation starting from recognized modes: the description, the discussion of concepts, the verification of a simple hypothesis and the autonomous use of the instruments acquired in the 1st cycle. The modality with internship in Public and International Affairs aims to give students a training oriented towards the job market, that is to say towards the acquisition of skills valued in employment.

In this program, you’ll learn how to use collective action, policies, institutions, and management approaches to influence environmental and natural resources issues. You’ll also develop a scientific understanding of environmental change, with a focus on the social context through which environmental issues are addressed.
