Upon graduation will be licensed in, Elementary Education 1-8, and Secondary Science 5-12. Integral to this academic excellence is an understanding of Native culture, which is woven throughout the curriculum. It is expected that the values and principles of Native culture will be embraced and modeled through dispositions reflective of culturally responsive teaching. During the first semester of coursework, teacher education students are required to take the Praxis I exam. Students must pass the Praxis I exam by the end of the 2nd semester in order to stay in the program.
