The objectives of the Bachelor's Degree in Tourism are defined taking into account the characteristics and evolution of the tourism activity developed in a context of rapid transformation and demands for quality, competitiveness, sustainability, and increasing internationalization. We find it important to highlight the following educational objectives of the Bachelor's Degree in Tourism.

  • Respond to existing training needs, facilitating the knowledge of useful tools for decision-making in the current context of tourism.
  • Offer a basic higher education corpus that allows for technical specialization and managerial management of tourism companies and institutions.
  • Address essential aspects for the development of competitive advantages concerning tourism products and destinations.
  • Generate specialization profiles that consider both the needs of business management and the management of collective aspects, particularly the tourism utilization of natural and cultural resources.
  • Standardize the transmission of knowledge in the field of tourism, avoiding the fragmentation of content due to excessive areas of knowledge.
  • Create the conditions for the development of multidisciplinary research lines.

In addition to the previous educational objectives, a common goal for all degrees at URJC is to promote mobility, especially international mobility.

Admission Requirements

Access to official Bachelor's degree programs will require possession of a high school diploma or equivalent and passing the test referred to in Article 42 of Organic Law 6/2001 on Universities, amended by Law 4/2007 of April 12, without prejudice to other access mechanisms provided by current regulations.

The number of places offered for new admissions are:

  • Fuenlabrada Campus: 65 places
  • Madrid Campus (Vicálvaro): 60 places
