With an accounting degree from UW-Platteville’s School of Business, you can work practically anywhere. Accountants evaluate and manage the financial health of an organization and job demand for accountants is rising rapidly. UW-Platteville’s accounting program focuses on alignment with the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential, which is highly valued by clients and employers. Additionally, all advanced accounting courses are taught by faculty who are CPAs, allowing you to benefit from their personal and professional experience in the field.

As a graduate, you’ll be prepared for a wide range of accounting careers such as public accounting, auditing, tax accounting, budget analysis, and governmental accounting.
