Half a million nurses are expected to retire in the next decade, and the nation’s evolving demands require more nurses with higher-level education to care for the growing patient population. The College of Nursing is perfectly positioned to deliver on both fronts. We offer bachelor’s degrees, nurse practitioner master’s degrees, doctoral degrees including the Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) and the only nursing PhD program in Rhode Island.
