The EMBA Program is designed to prepare executives and managers for the challenges they will face as they work and advance in their careers. Each student's development and education during this program will help them to achieve their full career potential and become an increasingly valuable member of their organization. The program is comprised of 39 credit hours, an orientation weekend in August, and a 7-10 day international residency in the fall of the second year. Classes meet all day Friday and Saturday every other weekend for 20 months.
EMBA Program Information
Courses are intended to expose participants to new methods, concepts, and tools that will enhance their business and leadership skills. Innovative teaching methodologies such as team-based projects, interdisciplinary case studies, simulations, debating-the-issues activities, and self-assessment exercises are used to enhance the learning experience.
All classes are held either in the College of Business Administration on our main campus in Orlando or at UCF’s Downtown Orlando campus. Our executive classrooms are specifically designed to provide the best in learning environments. The handicap accessible classrooms boast the latest in audio/video equipment and each seat has electrical hookup and wireless Internet access. With newly engineered acoustics, lighting and room design, every seat has an excellent view of the speaker and presentation. The UCF Executive MBA program has created the finest combination of a classroom environment and leading faculty.
EMBA Admission Criteria
The EMBA program has been developed specifically for individuals with management and leadership potential. During the selection process, the admissions committee evaluates an applicant’s potential based on many factors including managerial experience, professional character, leadership qualities, degree of motivation, and demonstrated scholastic stability. These factors are assessed through work experience, academic records, recommendations from others, and a personal interview. Specific admission criteria include:

The College of Business Administration (CBA) at the University of Central Florida (UCF) is one of the largest business schools in the United States. It has a total enrollment of 9,226 with 990 graduate and 8,236 undergraduate students. CBA has 141 full-time faculty members, including 4 administrators, and 7 non-instructional faculty.
The University of Central Florida is a major metropolitan research university located in Orlando. With 48,897 students, UCF has the second largest enrollment in the state. The Central Florida region is home to many major corporations and has one of the highest job growth rates in the nation, presenting lucrative internship and employment opportunities for UCF students and graduates.
