Program Description

To promote immediate integration into one of the professional environments in contact with a population of vulnerable people, the training helps to develop a capacity to solve legal problems, to apprehend the specific difficulties of vulnerable people, to deliver legal expertise in the field of vulnerable people and master the basics of accounting and management essential to budget support. This training develops the ability to conduct fundamental research in this area, consisting of defining a research problem, the conduct of forward-looking thinking, and developing doctrinal proposals.

The training tends to promote the acquisition of sufficient knowledge allowing immediate integration into the professional environment. It is intended to develop a capacity to solve legal problems, understand vulnerable people's problems, master the basics of accounting and management essential in companies, and deliver legal expertise to vulnerable people. Databases are given in data processing.

Besides, this training develops the ability to carry out fundamental research in this area by conducting forward thinking and developing doctrinal proposals.

Professional opportunities are numerous. The training of a lawyer specializing in the law of vulnerable persons is likely to be of interest to departmental tutelary associations and federations of judicial representatives in adults' protection. The training is also of interest to banks and insurance companies, especially if the student has been able to add a second specialty to his profile. Obtaining the national certificate of competence mentioning "a judicial representative for the protection of adults" constitutes one of the possible double specializations.

Child protection (association, department, judicial protection of young people) is also a potential outlet.

Specialized, the training of the master II mention civil law also allows students to prepare the competitive exams and entrance exams to the application schools (National School of Magistracy, Regional Center for Professional Training of Lawyers) by combining the master II and the preparation given at IMDA.
