Social change and innovation are the fundamental emblems of contemporary societies. In the studies of emerging social processes and social transformation, different theoretical and methodical perspectives are incorporated. Sociology as a specialized discipline in these dynamics offers professionals the necessary tools to analyze the process of social change and the social structures in which they are produced.

The University of Alicante is a public university located on the Mediterranean coast.
