BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN HEALTH AND PHYSICAL EDUCATION, GRADES K-12

Southeastern's Health and Physical Education program leads to teacher certification in Health and Physical Education for grades kindergarten through 12. Students who complete all teacher licensure requirements in Louisiana are certified to teach Health and Physical Education in elementary, middle/junior high and high schools throughout the state. Also offered are courses leading to teacher certification in Adapted Physical Education and a minor in Athletic Coaching.

The College of Nursing and Health Sciences offers a variety of innovative curricula at the graduate and undergraduate levels that prepare graduates to meet the region's current and future wellness and health care demands. Students have the opportunity to interact closely with faculty in programs that are challenging and exciting while developing the competencies required for functioning effectively in health-related disciplines.
