Program Description

If you have a passion for seeing the Church become all that it should be, the BA (Hons) Applied Theology in Church Leadership is the track for you; if you have initiative and are ready to take responsibility to develop the leadership gift in you, this is the track for you; if you are ready to be stretched, and to learn to serve by empowering others, this is the track for you.

We believe that input and output are essential on the Church Leadership track: with only information, we stagnate; with the only output we dry up. Our goal is to combine the academic content of Applied Theology at the core of the course, with plenty of opportunities for practical experience in ministry. Throughout your studies at Regents, our aim is not to produce clones or ‘typical pastors’, but to help release the full potential of your unique God-given personality, temperament, and gifts.

About the School

Regents Theological College is amongst the foremost Pentecostal Bible Colleges in Europe, and one of the largest in the UK. It is also the national training centre for the Elim Pentecostal Churches. It has been training people to serve in a range of Christian ministries, both in the church and the wider community, for over 90 years.

The campus is spectacularly located in a Victorian county house on the western slopes of the Malvern Hills, with views stretching across Herefordshire towards mid-Wales. The College welcomes students from many different countries, cultures and denominations, offering undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Applied Theology. It also runs the Ministry Foundation Certificate (MFC), a years course for people applying to become ministers within the Elim Church Movement.
