Build an IT qualification to suit your aspirations. Study common units in your first year and then major in Computer Science or Information Systems in your second year.

In this course you will

  • Unravel the intricacies of computer systems, master coding, build databases, and delve into cybersecurity.
  • Explore problem-solving in IT to identify and address business challenges and solve system design issues associated with efficiency, usability and security.
  • Be recognised nationally as a next‑gen IT professional ready to drive disruptive technologies by studying an IT degree accredited by the Australian Computer Society (ACS).
  • Specialise in Computer Science or Information Systems, and customise your degree to suit your interests.
    • In the  Computer Science major , learn software development and networked systems with the opportunity to gain expertise in areas such as information security, networks and communications, intelligent systems, data-centric computing, or user experience.
    • In the  Information Systems major , gain knowledge and skills to design and test innovative solutions to improve the work of individuals and organisations. You will be equipped with knowledge and expertise in business process improvement, business intelligence, enterprise systems, IoT and mobile technologies, and data science.
