Master Psychology (B.SC.)

With the master's program Psychology, a modern study concept was developed at the PHB focusing on the connection between practice and science. The degree course is aligned with the recommendations of the German Psychological Society and also provides insight into important practical fields.

The degree is completed with a Master of Science in Psychology (120 CP).

The Master's Program in Psychology at PHB offers the following special features and advantages:

• Specializations are possible in Clinical Psychology, Occupational, Organizational and Economic Psychology and combined in Clinical Work Psychology.
• Practical, legal and ethical principles of psychological work in research and practice are integrated into the study.
• Trainer skills and skills for science communication are taught and practiced.
• Regardless of the choice of the main subject, the basic module Clinical Psychology (10 CP) in this master's program ensures subsequent access to psychotherapist training (eg also for Bachelor graduates of the Fernuniversität Hagen)

The University

Graduates of the Master's program Psychology at the PHB fulfill the admission requirements for psychotherapeutic education. The Psychological Psychotherapy program is also accredited by Acquin in both main areas of specialization (behavioral therapy and psychodynamic psychotherapy), as is the Master's program in Legal Psychology.
