Program Description

In this programme, you have the opportunity to specialise in two of the following areas:

Interaction Design

Machine Learning

Cyber-Physical Systems

Information Systems

The programme is available full-time and part-time (2 and 4 years, respectively).

The first three semesters of the programme consist of lectures and project based work, whereas the fourth semester consists of independent work on a thesis paper. In your master’s thesis, you get the opportunity to specialise and work on an exciting project with our researchers and collaborators.

You may also get the opportunity to participate in the department´s research projects, as well as to carry out business projects with relevant IT companies.

See Structure and content for more information about the elective master courses.

You have the right to use the protected title sivilingeniør after graduation if you fulfil the following two requirements:

You have completed a bachelor's degree in computer engineering based on the national curriculum regulations or an equivalent education that meets the minimum requirements of 25 ECTS mathematics, 7,5 ECTS physics and 5 ECTS statistics.

You can document 6 weeks of relevant work experience during your studies, either through courses, practise or part-time jobs.
