You’ll walk away with a vast toolkit of analytical skills, ready to lead programs and institutions that create a positive impact. NYU Wagner's Master of Urban Planning degree core requirement include five courses:
The students in the MUP degree program complete the MUP core courses and choose one of two specializations: City and Community Planning or International Development Planning. Students usually complete both degrees in four years. As a graduation requirement, students must complete an end event, the year-long Capstone project and course. Over one academic year, students work in Capstone teams with faculty oversight to address challenges and identify opportunities for a client organization or to conduct research on a pressing social question. Capstone begins during the final fall semester.
