Juris Doctor

The Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree is a graduate, professional doctorate degree that is conferred upon those who complete the school's J.D. program.

The Juris Doctor Degree will be granted to individuals who have successfully completed all required terms of the law study program. It is the student's responsibility to be sure that Bar eligibility requirements are followed.

Northwestern California University School of Law (NWCULaw®) was founded 38 years ago. It began as an external degree-granting law school and is now the oldest degree-granting online law school in the country offering online distance learning education. Its law study program was developed so that economic obstacles, family commitments, the remoteness of the location, and other hardships would not prevent deserving individuals from studying law.
