São Paulo is a creative, hyperactive, seductive and warm city, where design, architecture, communication, events and innovation agencies abound. "Sampa", the largest urban center in the southern hemisphere, is the economic center of Brazil, a market of more than 200 million inhabitants. The city is considered as one of the most culturally diverse in the world.

A Master's Level Degree

The successful completion of the two years leads to the Master’s level degree in design , certified by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research and registered in the Registre National des Certifications Professionnelles (the French directory for vocational qualifications or RNCP) as a Level 7 Master’s degree.

Founded in 1988 and recognized by the State, the school is a non-profit organization. L’École de design Nantes Atlantique is an active member of various academic networks and professional organizations: Conférence des Grandes Écoles (top-tier French higher education institutions), Campus France and was awarder the "Bienvenue en France" label by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Design Expertise by L’École de design

Our main duty is to teach design either via a standard curriculum work-based programs or via continuing education, with around 1760 students in September 2022. As a professional school, L’École de design has built a pedagogical program based upon close ties with companies to facilitate the professional integration of our alumni. The research activity within our Design Labs dedicated to innovation, ensures the expertise required for a postgraduate degree in design.

We also carry out a mission of services to companies and promotion of design: internships, apprenticeship contracts, prospective studies, collaborative projects, organization of thematic events, monitoring and advice. For many years, our students have been awarded prizes in prestigious competitions. The successful careers pursued by our graduates are a good proof of the quality of our teaching methods.
