BSc in Global Business Informatics
The three-year BSc programme in Global Business Informatics provides you with the theoretical and practical tools for working with IT in an international business context and emphasises qualitative approaches to understanding IT, and its global significance. The programme is taught in English.
The Programme How does organisations engage in developing IT strategies and governing their enterprises across countries and differences, including various professions, and gender? How does ordinary people put technologies to use in their everyday work environments? These are key questions addressed in the Global Business Informatics programme.
IT affects all aspects of society and people’s lives well beyond what we consider technical. Informatics is the interdisciplinary study of how technologies are designed and put to use in social and organisational settings.
Global collaboration is an important part of the Global Business Informatics programme. The programme is carried out in English and many professors have an international background. As a Global Business Informatics student, you will work in groups with students from all over the World and have an excellent opportunity to create an international network.
The IT University is creating more IT graduates, than any other university in Denmark and offers a variety of research based study programmes within the field of IT. From games and communication to business and software development.
The IT University offers a high-quality academic environment in which inspiring and committed academics share their knowledge with inquisitive and ambitious students. Currently the IT University has a student body of 2600 students of which approximately 1/4 are international, making campus a melting pot of different nationalities and educational backgrounds.
Students of different nationalities and cultural backgrounds are trained to work in an international environment. A growing number of students from abroad are attracted to the IT University thanks to the University’s unique view on IT as a discipline drawing on technology as well as humanities, design and business.
